How do I know what group I belong?
Coaches will ultimately decide which group an athlete belongs.  "Try-Outs" can be scheduled at any normal practice, but are typically planned during our regular Saturday training times at the Natatorium.

To get a rough idea of where you (or your athlete might belong) please check-out the detailed group descriptions that can be found under the "Training Groups" tab.  Once you think you have identified the group, e-mail a coach and inform them of your intent.  We look foward to hearing from you!

Are there practice requirements or competition requirements?

While we do not have any requirements concerning competitions or practices (except for the Black Group), we recommend that all athletes practice as often as possible.  Consistency is the key to improvement.  As an athlete progresses into more advanced training groups they are expected to prioritize swimming and attending additional workouts.  Competitions are a vital part of an athlete’s long term progression; they not only represent an opportunity to measure trainining, but also allow athletes from all groups and locations to interacting and participating as one team!
